Gagan Goyal

A Mechanical Engineering graduate from IIT Bombay, Gagan had a keen interest in entrepreneurship and robotics since his student days. He won several robotics design competitions at national and international levels. His deep-seated interests prompted him to leave his plush job with HPCL to pursue his dream and found ThinkLABS in 2006.

On the way of taking the company to a leadership position, Gagan has won several accolades and have featured among the top 25 entrepreneurs in Asia by Businessweek and among the 35 young achievers on the cover page of India-Today recently.

A highly motivated individual and extremely passionate about his work, this entrepreneur is out there to rejuvenate the Indian education system with his equally passionate team.

Gaurav Chaturvedi
Gaurav Chaturvedi

Gaurav heads Sales and Marketing at ThinkLABS. He holds B. Tech degree from IIT Bombay. As a student he was involved in various technical activities & events during IIT days and was a core team member for Techfest 2003.

Before joining ThinkLABS, Gaurav had short stints with IIT Bombay start-ups, Rhizo Technologies and Quantum Phynance.

He brings with him a clear understanding of the market space coupled with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.

Chief Operating Officer

Dipankar Mukherjee
Dipankar Mukherjee

Dipankar Mukherjee is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at ThinkLABS. He has a rich experience of more than three decades in leading teams with entrepreneurial, technological and academic excellence in the fields of IT and IT Education.

Dipankar has worked as Managing Director of Boston Education and Software Technologies Ltd and also held the position of Chief Executive Officer, Sterlite Foundation in the past.

He has the unique ability to create and communicate a vision from an abstract concept and develop strategies to achieve the goal.


  • Prof C Amarnath

    Prof C Amarnath

    Known as the father of robotics at IIT Bombay, Prof Amarnath is Senior of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the institute. As the initiator of YANTRIKI, India's first national level robotics competition, Prof Amarnath's long and varied experience in the field makes him a valuable mentor for the company.

  • Dr Shah

    Dr Shah

    Dr. Arvind Shah is a Thinklabs advisor. He has over 40 years of experience as a professor, entrepreneur, mentor and of venture capital industry. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University and immediately joined Babson College as a professor. In 1971 he founded a software company, Sigma Services in Boston. He returned to India in 1982 and joined HInditron group as a director. Later he worked as a vicepresident of Digital Equipment . In 1991 he founded Boston computer Institutes and ran them till 2001.

    He has been on board of IT and venture capital companies. He was a member of the Executive committee of Nasscomm for the first six years. He has been a member of Government of India's committee about Computer Education.
