Benefits to Students
For a 21st century student, hands-on science learning is a necessity and not an option.
Our students need to be prepared for jobs that don't yet exist. That's why a problem-solving and innovative mindset is essential. We need to equip the next generation for what's to come, so that they can keep up with the demands of our ever changing world.
If students generate their own ideas in a student-centred classroom, they need the freedom to be physically active in the search for scientific knowledge. How can students begin to understand the nature of the world in which they live if they do not engage with it? Physical explorations not only make the concepts more tangible but also appeal to students' diverse learning styles. If students are physically involved, they are more apt to be mentally engaged.
Our world-class programs transform traditional classrooms, communicating science and technology concepts using attention-grabbing, interactive learning styles. Through a structured curriculum, ThinkLABS shapes a truly holistic educational experience, one that both fortifies and seamlessly integrates with the existing school curriculum.
How do we do it ?
ThinkLABS mixes the creativity and curiosity of young students with the hands-on education aspects of Science and Technology. With focus on Robot building and Science based activities, our learning methodology takes up innovative and challenging ideas and converts them in to solutions in the form of working robots or engaging science experiments.
Highlights of our pedagogy:
Robotics Learning System (RLS): In this program, students design, build and program robots. Various concepts from CS-STEM (Computer Science, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are explored and applied in this activity based learning style. RLS 6 of the 8 Multiple Intelligences. It appeals to all students and allows multiple points of access to science and technology learning to a variety of learners.
Eureka - Active Science Learning: In this program, students perform curriculum linked science experiments/activities in the classroom using specially designed kits. To make science learning real, the activities and experiments in Eureka are designed around daily life objects and observations. Student plans a process to test a hypothesis, puts the process in to motion using various hands-on materials and then sees the process to completion. Thus, it takes children beyond text based study and teaches through the process of discovery.

Testimonials
"It was delightful to watch young school kids constructing robots and getting them to work. The sheer joy on kids face must itself be a reward to the Team robo.in"
