Duration - 6 days
Program details - Each participant will be provided with an ergonomically designed robotic kit - Robonaut, consisting of electrical and mechanical building blocks and necessary toold to construct robots.
In this course, participants will be building remote controlled robots. They will lean:
- Basic concepts of physics
- Designing various types of mechanical structures
- Proper usage of tools

Competition: Students participate in a soccer competition on the last day of the course. Students experience the thrills of on-the-spot decision making and strategizing. They are also guided about participating in our national level open robotics championship TRiCKS, held every year at IIT Bombay.

ROBOCAMP Virtu is designed for school students from 4th std onwards. This camp aims at introducing the students to the new and exciting world of virtual creations. During this camp, the students will learn the art of animation, programming and man-machine interaction. Using Scratch software, the students will be pushed to stretch their boundaries of imagination.

Module I: - Introduction to the Virtual World
- Introduction to Scratch Software.
- Introduction to Algorithms and programming.
- Concept of Angles, Constructing shapes etc.
Module II: - Simple Animation
- Basics of animation
- Controlling program for Key Board Inputs
- Introduction to Broadcasting system for interaction

Module III: - Introduction to Sensors (Button and light sensor)

- Real life applications of Button and light sensors

Module VI:-Major Project/Presentation Day
On the final day, the students will be helped to create a virtual application of their choice and they will present their application in front of the class.It is a 6 day workshop, with practical hands on session on each day of the workshop. The aim of the workshop is to motivate the students to imagine and create. During the session the students would be making various activities such as
- Controlling on screen robot with the keyboard
- Animating the robot on screen to do tasks
- Controlling on screen characters using the HMI (human machine interface) board
- Creating a virtual home automation setup
Duration - 6 days
Program details - Each participant will be provided with i-Pitara kit, consisting of a reprogrammable unit, various sensors, mechanical building blocks and necessary tools. In this course, participant will build robots and program them using CiMPLE, an intuitive visual programming software specially designed for school students.
The participants will learn:
- Concepts of physics
- Programming and logic building
- Problem solving approaches

Competition: Students participate in a robotic wrestling competition on the last day of the course. Students experience the thrills of smart programming, design and strategizing. They are also guided about participating in our national level open robotics championship TRiCKS, held every year at IIT Bombay.(all RoboCAMP participants get a direct entry to TRiCKS)

In this course, participant will build complex robot designs and also learn how to make smarter programs using CiMPLE, an intuitive visual programming software specially designed for school students.
